Script Feedback
Send us your script and get personalized expert feedback.
Find out whether or not your script is connecting with your audience.
-
Everyone can benefit from feedback.
This business is about making an impression and we all need to know how our writing is coming across to an audience. That’s why we provide the judging scorecard to every script submitted to the competition.
And if you want more detailed coverage, we can help with that, too.
We’re screenwriters ourselves, so we know what it’s like to get notes that completely miss the mark of what our script was trying to do.
That’s why when you choose to get additional script coverage from us, we ask you to fill out a brief questionnaire to send along with your work. Do you want your script to be a hilarious and ridiculous broad comedy? Great, let us know. Or is your story more of a subtle satire? Also great! Just tell us.
We want to give you useful feedback that will bring you closer to your intended goal. Not just our ideas of ‘how we would do it.’
Check out the options below if you are interested in having us help you tell your story your way.Description text goes here

The Method
Where do great stories come from?
Tara and Jen each have two very different responses to that question. Tara believes in quieting the mind to access transcendent ideas while Jen believes the answer lies in learning how to use your true voice.
Either way, when Tara and Jen compared their approaches they found a striking concept at the center of both: our two selves.
The Creator and The Refiner. The head and the heart. The ideas and the feelings.
We believe that the foundation of all great work is the integration of these two selves, working together in harmony to produce something beyond all expectation.
Together, these two mindsets become The Inspired Screenwriting Method.
Anyone can follow a formula and end up with a structurally sound script. But in order to elevate your story beyond the formulaic, you must infuse it with your own unique perspective.
But how do you do that?
How do you separate the good ideas from the bad ones? How do you tap into that place where the magic happens? How do you create with ease and flow instead of clenched teeth and fists?
We’ve both banged our heads on a lot of walls over the years trying to figure it out, and we finally came up with a method that works for us. And now we want to share it with you.
So… here it is.
The Inspired Screenwriting Method. By exploring the connection between The Creator and The Refiner we’ve designed a process to help you use both to their greatest potential. Our method uses guided meditations along with more traditional writing work to nurture the artist within and bring out your inner genius. We hope it benefits you as much as it has us.
